Phenominal double-oven from KitchenAid
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] About a month into this oven and we love it. We have Electric model and the burner layout and sizing is excellent. I needed an oven that had the knobs in the back due to my back splash, so this was perfect. The controls are easily cleaned and solid knobs are perfect. But the double oven I must say is the best. So far, we almost exclusively u...
Beautiful but a truly BAD stove.
I owned this stove. Yes its beautiful. But there the compliments stop. My experience is awful. We got to know the repairman on a first name basis. The knobs get HOT. That causes something inside them to seize up. Then you can no longer use that burner until replacement. Ours fortunately was under warrenty for 7 years. That made it no less awful. Every time you turned around there was anot...

Happy I made the purchase
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this oven 3 weeks ago, and while getting use to the change in power compared to my previous range, I'm really enjoying the over and finding my cooking times and results to be more consistent.

Range cooktop is horrible!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooktop glass will not come clean. It has watermarks and rings permanently. I cleaned it as the manufacturer recommended and it doesn’t help. Customer service said nothing could be done. The cooktop is an inferior product and looks older than the unit I replaced. Sadly I trusted Kitchen Aid to be the high quality product I have owned in the past but it is not.

Knobs are poorly constructed
We bought this about 18 months ago and it is a really nice oven that bakes well. The double oven is a fantastic feature! However, we have had three knobs break already. They are simply made with too much plastic. That is why we don't rate it 5 stars.

Double oven
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always wanted a double oven and I do enjoy that. The glass top is a bit touchy when it comes to cleaning, but I’m used to that because I’ve always had a glass top stove. They all perform essentially the same way. You must clean them up immediately after use.

Difficult to clean and no manuals
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not my first double ovens glass cookbook, but is my first Kitchenaid. The cook top is nearly impossible to keep looking clean. Everything is use it the pan area is most troublesome to clean despite using only cook to cleaner. The knobs aren't as easy to clean as the touchscreen. I like to cook and am avoiding using it. It does not come with a manual.

Burners stopped working
We bought this Oct. '24 and initially it worked fine and we loved the double oven feature. Soon after had a suspected issue with one of the burners not working correctly and then a bit later had another burner act suspiciously too. Now they won't turn on unless it is on high. Anything lower they don't turn on at all or it's hit and miss. Sounds like lots of other people are having the same problem. Went to call it in for service but I need my modal and serial numbers. Anybody know where to find them on this thing??? We've looked everywhere and can only find caution and warning stickers. One of them should say Caution/Warning - Do not buy this product!

Great features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced my 20 year old range. I’m very pleased with my purchase. The 2 ovens make meal time so much easier.

Very roomy cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using it for over a month now and so far I am happy with it. The cooktop is big enough for multiple pots. I like the two ovens as well.

Exactly what we wanted and needed!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are KitchenAid fans. Prior to purchasing this stove, we had the exact same double stove, only your gas version. Both of us are retired and our vision is very poor, to make matters worse, we are very clumsy. We spill everything and it seems like we knock over things on a continuous basis. Neither of us was ever like this. I guess it is part of the old age process. Anyway, we noticed a strong gas smell on several occasions. On your gas version, the knobs are in the front. It turns out that after using the stove and cleaning up, we were hitting the far right knob and accidentally turning on the gas. After figuring out what we were both doing, we decided on purchasing a smooth top. It turns out that KitchenAid makes the exact model with a smooth top, only the knobs are located on the back area, rather than the front. We immediately purchased it and are very happy. Plus the safety aspect was worth the hassle of trying to sell our three year old gas stove. Our neighbor does social media and was extremely kind and listed our KitchenAid Double Oven Gas stove. We received 5 calls and sold it in two days.

Poor design
Glass scratches easily, melt burner is worthless, ultra low is worthless. Top oven tray scrapes against the door when pulling out. Timer is started by pressing Timer and not Start. It's obvious that very little thought went into this design. It has been disappointing.

Watch that pull-out oven rack!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love Kitchen Aid appliances so felt confident buying again. I adore my electric double-oven range BUT the pull-out rack lacks a back safety curt, so I feel it’s a huge safety issue!!! I actually had a pan slide right off the back down into the oven, my first week of having this stove!!!

So far so good
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a single oven Kitchenaid range with this double oven version. So far I have only a few exceptions: 1) upper oven rack is very awkward to fully extend. 2) lower over necessities kneeling to extend oven racks. 3) as was the case in both ranges, I hate the dots all over the cooking surface. For the most part, I like it but time will tell if it was worth it’s hefty price.
